1.A connecting hyperlink of an O-ring Chain for general application is pre-coated with grease on the pins. In advance of connection, verify the grease on the surfaces of pins, and if your amount of grease is compact, apply grease with bare hands. (If gloves are used, the grease will be absorbed by the gloves.)
Example: Once the connecting website link (I) of an O-ring chain for general application is
shipped, O-rings are fitted at the roots from the pins. If your O-rings come loose on account of vibration throughout transport, refit the O-rings in towards the roots of your pins.
In this instance, make sure you return the grease collected on the roots from the pins to your central surfaces with the pins, extra at portion A than at portions B proven during the over illustration. (Portions A is worn on account of sliding together with the bushings.)
2.The chain is often most quickly connected to the teeth of the sprocket. Engage the backlinks at both ends with the chain using the sprocket teeth and fit connecting pins. Should the sprocket is often moved, the chain can also be linked to the loosened side.
3. Connecting procedure
one.Verify that O-rings are connected on the roots from the pins.
2.In case the amount of grease applied on the connecting pins is modest, coat the pins with grease with the central portions.
3.Insert the connecting pins to the bushings of your inner backlinks at both ends.
4.Confirm that the grease is applied for the whole encounter of your O-ring, and match the O-ring onto the connecting pins.
5.Insert the connecting pins in to the connecting plate and even though pressing the connecting plate, install the spring clip. Verify whether or not the head (the finish without a split) from the spring clip is turned from the feeding course on the chain. (See the following illustration.)
6.Be sure to confirm that the spring clip is securely fitted during the clip grooves with the connecting pins.
This completes jointing of your connecting hyperlink. Note that grease on the surfaces of connecting pins and O-rings is often removed during installation work. In this instance, re-grease using the grease about the surface in the base chain or the grease in the polyethylene bag by which the connecting link was contained.
